During my recent city trip to Täsch, I had the pleasure of staying at the Matterhorn Inn, a delightful family-run hotel just a stone's throw away from the train station. You can't beat the convenience; the shuttle to Zermatt runs every 20 minutes, making those exquisite mountain views easily accessible. The breakfast left me enchanted, particularly the overnight oats, and I'd rate it a solid 9/10. The balcony view was the cherry on top, perfect for sipping coffee after a long day of exploring. Thanks to the hotel's complimentary wellness oasis, I indulged in some post-hiking relaxation; the sauna was a real savior after a day in the crisp Alpine air. Plus, the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful, ensuring we felt at home throughout our stay. If you're looking for the ideal base to explore Zermatt and beyond, the Matterhorn Inn should be at the top of your list!
